At Home Instead we know how important it is for people in our local community to live where they feel most comfortable - at home. We are looking for someone to visit our clients in Matlock two days per week: Tuesday & Wednesday one week, and Saturday & Sunday the following week. We have daytime visits available and some teatime. We also have visits available in Ashbourne, if you would like to travel to this area.
All initial calls with a client who is new to you will be introductions with the support of another colleague, so you can really get to know your client and their needs.

Responsibilities as a Care Assistant:
- Support with personal care tasks such as bathing, getting dressed, and using the bathroom.
- Perform household tasks such as light cleaning and tidying.
- Engage with fun activities with your client, such as playing scrabble or cards.
- Ensure transparent communication with clients and loved ones, offering first-rate care and comfort.
- Write accurate daily notes, keeping up strong communication with the office.
- Administer medication and record appropriately.
Requirements:
- You must be reliable and punctual to ensure we can continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
- Must have a caring, friendly personality.
- You must be able to attend training in Leek.
- Must drive and have access to own vehicle.
