Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Associate plays an integral part in the organising and deployment of marketing and sales campaigns for all MFT products and actively seeking out new business opportunities for our Sales Manager.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -
Support MFT Marketing Strategy
- Assist Sales Manager in achieving Sales Strategy and overall Sales Targets
- Support Sales Manager and our clients with product demos, training, exhibitions, MFT site visits
- To achieve Sales Revenue/GP targets as agreed with the Sales Manager
Communication
- To act as an internal Sales point of contact for prospects and existing customers
- Handle inbound calls and deal appropriately with queries whilst achieving agreed KPIs
- Pro-actively outbound call to enable required prospects to customer conversion rate
- To convert prospects to customers as per conversion rate agreed with Sales Manager
- Focus on individual product Sales as required e.g. Patio Sliding Doors, Korniche Bifolds etc
- Deal with incoming website enquiries with the goal of converting them to sales
Technical Knowledge
In depth product knowledge is essential to customer service advisor role, to assist in the diagnosis of issues efficiently. Product knowledge may require spending time on each product to gain awareness of the components used and an understanding of how the product is manufactured. This is integral to building robust relationships with customers by ensuring they are aware of our full product offering.
Reporting
- Pro-actively manage existing Customer relationships including collating feedback
- Actively carry out product and competitor market research
- Ensure all Sales activity is logged on CRM system
- Adhere to internal processes and procedures
Key Skills
- Proven telesales, business development, lead generation or account development experience.
- Experience making high volumes of outbound sales calls and converting prospects into customers.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Confident in overcoming objections and building relationships with decision makers.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage pipelines and sales activity.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify sales opportunities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, resilient and driven by achieving results.
