The Role
You will manage a varied caseload covering both residential conveyancing and commercial property transactions. You'll advise clients throughout the transaction lifecycle, providing commercially focused, practical advice while ensuring matters progress efficiently from instruction through to completion.
The role offers excellent exposure to a broad range of property work, making it ideal for someone looking to continue developing their expertise within a busy and growing practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and leasehold transactions
- Advise clients on commercial property acquisitions, disposals, leases, refinancing, and landlord and tenant matters
- Draft, negotiate, and review contracts, leases, transfers, and supporting legal documentation
- Liaise with clients, lenders, agents, developers, and other professional advisers throughout transactions
- Deliver commercially focused legal advice tailored to each client's objectives
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, helping generate repeat business and referrals
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the Property department
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years experience managing a mixed property caseload
- Experience handling residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
- Experience advising on commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and landlord and tenant matters
- Working knowledge of residential and commercial property law
- A proactive, collaborative approach and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding client service
