Location: Hybrid – Remote with travel across London & surrounding regions
Salary: £24,000
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm (occasional flexibility required).
Overview
The Role
We’re looking for an energetic and results-driven Sales & Enrolment Officer to join our growing team. This is a varied, fast-paced role at the heart of our commercial operation — combining outbound sales activity, inbound enquiry conversion, and learner enrolment and onboarding.
You’ll be the first point of contact for many of our prospective learners and employer partners, playing a key role in growing our learner numbers and ensuring every new starter has a smooth and positive experience from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Enrolment & Onboarding
- Guide learners through the full enrolment process, ensuring all documentation and eligibility requirements are completed accurately
- Deliver Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG) to learners throughout the onboarding process, ensuring they are matched to the most appropriate programme for their needs and circumstances
- Liaise with internal delivery and compliance teams to ensure smooth learner onboarding
- Support learners with any queries during the enrolment stage, providing a positive and reassuring experience
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date learner records throughout the enrolment journey
CRM & Sales Administration
- Use HubSpot (or equivalent CRM) to manage pipelines, log all activity, and track lead and enrolment progress
- Maintain a clean and up-to-date CRM database, ensuring all contacts, communications, and opportunities are accurately recorded
- Produce regular reports on sales activity, conversion rates, and enrolment numbers for management review
- Identify trends and opportunities within the CRM data to support business development decisions
Sales & Business Development
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and networking
- Generate and qualify leads within the health & social care sector
- Manage and convert inbound enquiries from prospective learners and employer partners in a timely and professional manner
- Present SECCTA’s training programmes and qualifications clearly and compellingly to prospective clients and learners
- Meet and exceed individual sales and enrolment targets
Who This Role Suits
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Previous experience in a sales, enrolment, or business development role — ideally within education, training, or health & social care
- Confident telephone manner with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to meet sales or enrolment targets
- Experience using CRM systems, ideally HubSpot, to manage pipelines and log activity
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously
- A self-motivated, proactive approach with the ability to work independently
- A genuine interest in health & social care or the training/education sector
- Full UK Driving Licence (desirable)
