We are currently recruiting for a SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a well-established secondary school in Andover from September—one we have successfully partnered with for a number of years.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to provide dedicated, one-to-one support to a student with additional needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and thrive within a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent 1:1 support to a student with SEN
- Support learning across the curriculum
- Assist with personalised learning plans and tailored interventions
- Help manage behaviour and support emotional regulation
- Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and pastoral teams
- Build a positive and trusting relationship with the student
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable)
- Patient, calm, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Passion for supporting students on a 1:1 basis
- Ability to remain consistent and reliable in approach
- Relevant qualifications beneficial but not essential
