Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Full time and part time being 22hrs not suitable for students.
The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to individuals in our care setting, supporting their daily needs and promoting wellbeing. Duties
- Assisting residents or clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Supporting individuals with their daily routines in accordance with personalised care plans
- Administering medication as directed and maintaining accurate records
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding where necessary
- Providing companionship and emotional support to promote mental wellbeing
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment in line with health and safety regulations
- Communicating effectively with team members, residents, and family members to ensure comprehensive care delivery
Qualifications
- Previous experience of two years working within a care home or home care setting is essential; full training will be provided
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and documentation purposes
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate empathy and professionalism
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
