Salary: £30,005.00 per annum
We have an opportunity for an Estates Caretaker to work across residential estates in the Chesham and High Wycombe areas, delivering a proactive and responsive cleaning and caretaking service.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning communal areas across residential properties to a high standard
- Vacuuming, wiping surfaces, removing rubbish, cleaning toilets, and restocking supplies
- Cleaning and sanitising bin rooms, ensuring bins remain accessible, and assisting refuse collection services when required
- Removing litter, leaves, dog fouling, and other waste from external areas
- Clearing gutters and gullies to prevent blockages and maintain site safety
- Sweeping hard surfaces and supporting snow clearance and gritting activities during winter months
- Cleaning lift interiors and keeping control panels and door runners free from dirt and debris
- Identifying and reporting requirements for deep cleans or specialist cleaning services
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times
- Reporting tenancy-related issues, estate concerns, or property defects as appropriate
- Recording completed work accurately using the required technology and systems
- Ordering, handling, and storing cleaning products and equipment safely
- Maintaining cleanliness within bin stores and reporting any waste collection issues
- Responding to emergency situations when required
- Driving service vehicles safely and ensuring they are kept clean, roadworthy, and well maintained
- Providing basic advice and assistance to residents while on site
- Undertaking any other reasonable duties as required by the role
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (Manual)
- Basic DBS Check
