As a UK manufacturer of Industrial workstations and conveyors. We are seeking a Semi Skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team.
This varied role includes Fabrication and Welding of Frames and Structures, along with some assembly and some installation work. An ideal varied role. offering an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Prep and Perform MIG welding on various materials, including Sectional and flat steek, adhering to safety standards and technical specifications including squareness.
- Utilise a range of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete fabrication tasks efficiently.
- Assist with the assembly of metal parts, ensuring precise fitting and alignment.
- Support assembly activities where required.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, following health and safety regulations at all times.
- Accurately read drawings and measuring equipment to produce required fabrications
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in MIG welding and experience
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment used in fabrication processes.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to assembly, material handling, and equipment maintenance.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks.
- Experience working with sheet metal and understanding of fabrication principles is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail coupled with good organisational skills.
- Ability to work safely in a busy workshop environment while maintaining high standards of quality. This role is ideal for individuals eager to develop their welding expertise within a supportive team environment while contributing effectively to manufacturing projects.

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
