The Role
You'll own everything that happens on your line. That means hitting output and quality targets, keeping the line running cleanly and safely, leading the operators on it and driving the continuous improvement that keeps us competitive.
This is a role for someone who takes pride in a line that runs right and wants the authority to make it happen.
Key Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of line performance: output, yield, efficiency (OEE), waste, and right-first-time quality
- Able to follow science backed formulations
- Lead, coordinate and motivate the production operators on your line, allocating tasks.
- Ensure full adherence to BRCGS Issue 9 standards, including batch/lot traceability
- Carry out and verify line clearance, changeovers, and CIP/sanitation between runs
- Complete accurate batch documentation, production records, and traceability paperwork
- Monitor process parameters (depositing, cooling, drying, coating) and react quickly to deviations
- Drive continuous improvement — identify bottlenecks, reduce downtime, and raise throughput
- Uphold GMP, food safety, health & safety, and hygiene standards at all times
- Escalate equipment, quality, or supply issues promptly and support root-cause resolution
- Support new product introductions and contract/private-label runs
