We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Live-in Carer to provide high-quality, person-centred care in a private home.
About the Role
As a Live-in Carer, you will support an individual with their daily living needs while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing. You will live in the client's home during your placement, providing companionship and practical assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect.
- Assisting with medication reminders and administration (where appropriate).
- Preparing nutritious meals and supporting with hydration.
- Helping with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Assisting with mobility and accompanying the client to appointments or social activities.
- Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in care is preferred but not essential, as training may be provided.
- A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
- Right to work in the UK.
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Driving licence (preferred but not essential).
