Mobile Refrigeration Engineer – £45,000 – Bristol / Bath
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mobile Refrigeration Engineer to join a well-established specialist contractor covering the South West of England. This role offers door-to-door travel, strong overtime rates, private healthcare, and long-term work across hospitality contracts.
Package
- Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 DOE
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Travel: Door-to-Door paid
- Vehicle: Ford Custom van + fuel card + float
- Personal Use: Permitted
- Holiday: 24 days + bank holidays
- Sick Pay: TBC
- On-Call: 1 week in 5 (Negotiable)
- Standby: TBC
- Overtime:
- 1.5x after 40 hours
- Saturdays paid at 1.5x
- Sundays paid at double time

Role Overview
As a Mobile Refrigeration Engineer, you will carry out planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and fault finding across a variety of commercial refrigeration equipment within hospitality environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems
- Reactive breakdown attendance and fault finding
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Working on small refrigeration equipment across hospitality sites
- Ensuring all compliance paperwork is completed accurately
- Delivering excellent customer service across client sites
Requirements / Qualifications
- Valid F-Gas qualification
- Ideally around 10 years’ refrigeration experience
- Strong background in reactive maintenance and servicing
- Experience working on small commercial refrigeration equipment
- Full UK Driving Licence
