Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing techniques, safety procedures, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in construction-related trades is highly valued, and a commitment to quality workmanship is essential. Duties
- Must be able to lay green mineral, rubber, felt and tiled roofs etc
- Pitch roof tiles
- Flat roofs
Requirements
- Proven experience in roofing or related construction trades such as carpentry, masonry, or plumbing is preferred
- CIS Needed
- Drivers License needed
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in roofing tasks
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to working at heights and on construction sites
- Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Candidates should demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to varying project requirements. A valid UK driving licence is also beneficial but not essential.
