Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various trades including fabricating, electrical work, carpentry, masonry, painting, welding, and roofing. The role involves working on a variety of projects that require a diverse skill set. Not all are essential, training will be provided. Predominately in a Marine based environment (Ferry terminals, piers, docks and slipways)
Duties:
- Fabricate and install structures and fixtures
- Perform electrical installations and repairs
- Carry out plumbing tasks as needed
- Utilise power tools for various construction activities
- Demonstrate carpentry skills for building and repairing structures
- Engage in masonry work for construction projects
- Conduct painting tasks to finish surfaces
- Weld metal components as required
- Use hand tools effectively for precision work
- Work on roofing projects to ensure structural integrity
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a variety of trades including carpentry, masonry, painting, welding.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools effectively forklift ticket or rya powerboat levels
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills to tackle various construction challenges
- Health and Safety awareness in the workplace

Ideal candidates
Available for flexible working hours, sometimes on occasion at night. Most of our job/maintenance working is based on working around the tides.
Must be reliable and dependable due types of emergency work carried out within the company
Required valid uk driving license
