Summary
We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team based in Purfleet. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring timely deliveries of asphalt and aggregates, contributing to our commitment to excellent service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport asphalt and aggregates safely.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and deliveries.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes.
- Qualifications
- Valid commercial driving license (CPC).
- Valid MPQC card and Safe Driving certificate
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in the haulage industry.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Experience with tippers, MINIUMUM 2 YRS HGV LICENCE REQUIRED
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
