Gough Electrical is a long-established electrical wholesaler supplying electricians, contractors, tradespeople and local businesses across North Wales.
Following our recent acquisition by Flockstone Group, we are entering an exciting new phase of growth and are looking for a reliable, practical and motivated person to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the electrical wholesale industry. Experience is welcome, but attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are more important.
The Role
This is a hands-on role supporting warehouse operations, stock control, deliveries and the trade counter.
You will learn how an electrical wholesaler operates and become an important part of a small, close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving supplier deliveries
- Checking goods against delivery notes
- Putting stock away accurately
- Picking and preparing customer orders
- Supporting customers at the trade counter
- Assisting with local deliveries
- Learning and understanding our product range
- Using QuickBooks, email and internal systems
- Supporting stock control activities
- Keeping the warehouse organised, safe and tidy
- Supporting the wider team as required
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Organised and practical
- Comfortable using computers and basic software
- Good with customers and communication
- Willing to learn a large product range
- Able to work as part of a small team
- Keen to develop new skills and take responsibility
Useful Experience (not essential)
- Warehouse
- Trade counter
- Builders' merchants
- Electrical wholesale
- Plumbing or heating merchants
- Distribution or logistics
Full training will be provided for the right person.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
8:15am – 5:15pm
Saturday mornings on a rota basis (typically 1–2 Saturdays per month).
