Overview
We are seeking a reliable Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. One day per week for 2 hours. The day and times are flexible to suit candidate. Cleaning can be done at any time between 8:30am & 5:30pm
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across a commercial premises. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on professionalism and efficiency. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable, though training will be provided for the right candidate.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, washrooms, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, windows, and fixtures are cleaned to a high standard
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow specific cleaning schedules and instructions to meet client expectations
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is advantageous but not essential
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices in hygiene standards is preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Good organisational skills and reliability are essential for success in this role
