We are seeking to recruit a Care Support Worker in a 24 bedded Residential Care Home. The ideal candidate will be caring, dedicated and reliable, with the motivation to make a difference in peoples' lives.
Working with Us
Caeglas is a small family run home that provides residential care for older people, located near Llandeilo in Carmarthenshire. You will be joining a friendly team that strives to provide the highest quality of care to our 24 residents.
General Duties
- Provide support and assistance to individuals throughout the night
- Assist with personal care tasks
- Help during mealtimes
- Administer medications
- Assist with mobility and transfers using lifting equipment where required
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals
Experience / Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in care home setting
- NVQ or QCF in Social Care or equivalent
- Manual handling, medication, infection control training, etc
(Preferred but not essential as full training will be given)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £17.00 per hour
