Summary
We are seeking an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team at QCE Nurseries. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in early childhood education while working closely with children to support their development in a nurturing environment.
You will receive extensive mentoring and coaching as you progress through your qualification with our trusted training partner. No need to attend college!
Hours of work: Mon-Fri, 8 hours per day, 4 hours a week of study time provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging educational activities for children.
- Support the daily care and supervision of children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating nursery environment.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills.
- Observe and record children's progress, contributing to their developmental assessments.
Requirements
- A passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Previous experience in childcare or early years education is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills within the childcare sector.
