Salisbury Road Primary School is seeking a friendly, organised and proactive Administrator to join our busy school office.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you will be the first point of contact for pupils, parents, visitors and staff, providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house service while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
Key Responsibilities

Provide a warm and professional reception service, handling enquiries in person and by phone

Maintain accurate pupil records and support data systems (e.g. Arbor, school census)

Support financial administration, including school meals, trips and clubs

Manage communications with parents (letters, emails and messaging systems)

Assist with attendance, registers and general pupil administration

Undertake general office duties such as filing, photocopying and record-keeping

Support safeguarding procedures and maintain strict confidentiality at all times
We are looking for someone who:

Has previous experience working in a busy office environment (school experience desirable)

Is confident using IT systems including Microsoft Word, Excel and email

Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Can prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure

Demonstrates professionalism, flexibility and a positive, team-focused attitude

Salisbury Road is two form entry primary school that serves the locality of St Judes, near the city centre. We are situated in a large, three-storey, Victorian building in the heart of the community, and work closely with many local partners. We pride ourselves on being a warm and friendly school and aim to enhance and inspire the lives of not only the children that attend our school but their families and wider community.
