Overview
We are a totally Gluten Free baking company, based in Honiton. Our owner, Brian, has been baking for over 40 years and is widely respected in the industry for the quality of his Gluten Free products.
Brian would like to pass on his skills to an established or trainee bread baker and pastry chef so we can take advantage of some amazing growth opportunities that the company has in 2026.
We are a small bakery and are passionate about baking amazing bread, sweet and savoury products for our wholesale clients and retail customers in our Honiton cafe which in the front of our bakery.

Duties
- Bake a variety of artisan bread products to our recipes
- Bake our sweet and savoury products.
- Occasional serving in our cafe.
- Occasional deliveries orders to our wholesale customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed
- Contribute to menu development by offering ideas based on culinary trends and customer preferences
Skills
- Experience as a bread baker or pastry chef preferable, otherwise, experience in general baking will be considered, as training will be given.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques, baking, and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt and multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
This position is an excellent opportunity for a Bread Baker or Pastry Chef who is passionate about what they do and wants to specialise in artisan Gluten Free products.
