Kitchen Porter (Full Time)

£14/00 per hour + Tronc + Annual Bonus Scheme
The Kings Arms is a beautifully restored coaching inn in the heart of Hawkshead, in the Lake District. Following a full refurbishment, we offer a busy food-led pub, restaurant, eight boutique bedrooms and a holiday cottage, serving high-quality food and drink in a welcoming and professional environment.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis.
What you'll be doing:
- Washing dishes, cookware and kitchen equipment
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and hygienic
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation when required
- Receiving and putting away deliveries
- Supporting the team during busy service periods
- Following all food safety and health & safety procedures
What we're looking for:
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Good attention to cleanliness and organisation
- Reliability and punctuality
- Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential
