Duties
- Operate sewing machines to construct, alter, or repair garments and fabric items
- Follow detailed patterns and specifications to ensure accurate production
- Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and defects
- Organise materials and supplies efficiently within the warehouse setting
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Assist in inventory management by tracking fabric and supply usage
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sewing, with the ability to handle various fabrics and techniques
- Warehouse experience is desirable, demonstrating organisational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
