The Role
We are seeking a passionate and proactive Field Service Engineer to join our team. You’ll be at the forefront of delivering our trusted calibration services to customers across the UK, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and reliability in their operations. This is a role where technical expertise meets customer excellence, your work will directly impact the quality and safety of products millions of people use every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform calibration, service, and maintenance of weighing and measurement equipment at client sites nationwide.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing clear and confident solutions to customers.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO 17025, etc.).
- Maintain accurate service records, certificates, and documentation.
- Build strong, professional relationships with clients, acting as a brand ambassador
- Contribute ideas and feedback to help improve service delivery and innovation.
- Take part in continuous training to expand your technical knowledge and expertise.
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on engineer with experience in calibration, testing, or precision instrumentation (weighing industry experience is desirable but not essential).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication skills—able to inspire trust and confidence with clients.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the country.
- Overnight stays are likely, but restricted to 3/4 times a month.
- Commitment to accuracy, attention to detail, and professional standards.
- A self-starter who thrives in a field-based, autonomous role.
