The vacancy
This job exists to offer and deliver 24-hour care and support to children and/or adults with a range of visual impairments, additional complex needs and behaviours that challenge within our residential houses. You will help them achieve their fullest potential by providing a safe, high-quality environment and accessing the local community and activities.
As part of the Residential team, you will work collaboratively with the multi-professional team within our care provision and colleagues across the organisation.
You will demonstrate a kind and caring attitude to our residents to provide a nurturing home environment.
The post involves shift working over the 24-hour period, 7 days a week. Shift patterns include day and evening shifts, night shifts (awake) and night shifts (sleep overs).
