About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to provide short-term cover at a school site starting ASAP. There is potential for the role to be extended for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Emptying bins and replenishing supplies
- Ensuring high cleaning standards are maintained throughout the site
- Following health & safety and safeguarding procedures
- Locking/unlocking areas where required
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good attention to detail
- Enhanced DBS preferred (or willingness to obtain one)
