What you will do:
- Set direction and pace for a small finance team—coach, upskill, and create momentum
- Own the month/quarter/year-end close and external reporting—deliver right-first-time outputs
- Take responsibility for audit delivery—coordinate stakeholders and keep timelines tight
- Safeguard balance sheet integrity—lead reconciliations and controls
- Elevate management reporting—turn data into insight and action for senior leaders
- Drive ad hoc and commercial analysis that informs decisions in a complex, changing environment
What you bring:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified; first movers from Practice with managerial experience welcomed
- Proven technical depth in IFRS/financial reporting and control
- Track record leading people—setting standards, delegating effectively, and coaching for results
- Confident operator with senior stakeholders; calm, structured, and credible under pressure
- Experience steering audit processes end-to-end
