We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HGV Tanker Mechanic to join our aftersales team based in Coalville. If you are a skilled Municipal Engineer, or someone with a strong mechanical mindset and background looking to grow your career? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
Acumec provides the water and wastewater industry with sewer cleaning equipment, servicing and repairs and sales of the Revive product. The team offers sales and aftercare of all types of sewer cleaning machinery, focusing on combination and recycling units, tankers and their associated parts and accessories.
With depot locations in Coalville and Preston and a team of mobile engineers we are looking to expand our workshop team in Coalville due to further growth with the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
Maintaining and repairing specialist HGV body equipment
Solving complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
To ensure all compliance details are completed in accurate and timely manner.
Delivering first-class service to customers
Sharing your knowledge through hands-on training
Working safely and confidently every day
What We’re Looking For
Experience in HGV or Plant or Municipal vehicles such as RCV's / Sweepers
Strong mechanical/electrical/hydraulic skills
A full UK Driving Licence - Desirable Class C
Someone proactive, calm under pressure, and great with customers
What You’ll Get

Mon–Fri, 40 hour working week + overtime available
