We are a growing family run hospitality venue looking for skilled & experienced people to join our kitchen team.
You will be required to prepare delicious meals according to menu & under guidance from the Head Chef.
Any candidate must be able to follow instructions in cooking & delivering well-prepared meals. They must be deft in moving around the kitchen & apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients & cooking techniques is also important.
Responsibilities ...
· Set up workstations with all needed ingredients & cooking equipment
· Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping & peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
· Cook food for customers & functions.
· Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
· Keep a sanitised & orderly environment in the kitchen
· Ensure all food & other items are stored properly
· Check quality of ingredients
· Monitor stock & place orders when there are shortages
· General kitchen cleaning duties.
Requirements...
· Proven experience in a similar environment.
· Experience in using commercial catering equipment.
· Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods.
· Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
· Ability to work in a team
· Very good communication skills
· Excellent physical condition and stamina
· Industry qualification would be beneficial to any candidate, however we do offer external career development with our partnered training providers.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £10.00-£15.00 per hour
