We are seeking a experienced skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Technician to join our dynamic team. We are looking for candidates who would be willing to train within the Manufacturer Franchise and have the desire and ambition to progress onto Master Technician status. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for automotive repair and maintenance.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to diagnose issues and identify necessary repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and replacements.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed on each vehicle, including parts used and time spent on repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of service.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology to enhance skills and knowledge.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Diagnostic Technician is essential
- Qualified MOT Tester is also accepted.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
