We are a warm, family style residential home overlooking the beautiful Birchington coastline. With peaceful gardens, sea views, and a genuinely homely atmosphere, we support up to 34 residents — including those living with dementia or receiving palliative care. Great food is a huge part of life here, and our home cooked meals bring comfort, joy, and a real sense of belonging.
About the Role
We’re looking for an upbeat, passionate Cook to join us on a temporary 6 month contract, with the exciting potential to become permanent for the right person. Working 15 hours per week, you’ll create delicious, nourishing meals that residents look forward to every single day. Your cooking will help make mealtimes relaxed, enjoyable, and full of warmth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing fresh, home style meals for up to 34 residents
- Catering for dietary needs including soft diets, allergies, and personal preferences
- Keeping the kitchen spotless with excellent hygiene and organisation
- Working closely with the care team to create calm, enjoyable mealtime experiences
