New Recruits are recruiting for Vehicle Delivery Drivers on behalf of our client based in Upper Heyford.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy driving and working independently. The role involves collecting and delivering vehicles across the UK using trade plates, ensuring vehicles are delivered safely, professionally, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver vehicles nationwide using trade plates.
- Complete vehicle inspections and condition reports before and after delivery.
- Take photographs of vehicles where required.
- Plan journeys and manage travel between vehicle movements.
- Liaise with customers and the transport team professionally.
- Ensure all paperwork and electronic records are completed accurately.
- Maintain high standards of customer service at all times.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence held for at least 2 years.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points.
- Confident driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
- Comfortable travelling independently throughout the UK.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to use a smartphone for reporting and communication.
- Professional and reliable approach to work.
Working Pattern
- Flexible working available between 2 and 5 days per week.
- Monday to Friday only.
- Start times may vary depending on vehicle locations and delivery schedules.
- Nationwide travel required.
Expenses & Travel
Drivers are responsible for arranging and paying for their own travel between vehicle collections and deliveries, including train and public transport tickets. All authorised business travel expenses can be submitted and reimbursed in line with company procedures.
