Parkstone Insurance is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Commercial Insurance New Business Executive to join our team.
This role focuses purely on converting new business opportunities, particularly within SME sectors including fleet, taxi and courier insurance.
We are building a brokerage focused on doing things properly — knowledgeable advice, straightforward communication, and long-term client relationships.
The Role
You will focus on converting new commercial insurance enquiries and building long-term relationships with SME clients.
Unlike many new business roles, you will not be expected to cold call or self-generate leads.
Parkstone invests significantly in paid lead generation and marketing, meaning you will primarily be speaking with business owners who have made enquiries about their insurance requirements.
Typical risks include:
- SME commercial insurance
- Fleet insurance
- Taxi insurance
- Courier / delivery insurance
- Other commercial motor and business risks
Your role will be to advise clients, structure competitive insurance solutions and convert enquiries into long-term accounts.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in commercial insurance is essential
- Experience with SME or fleet commercial risks
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage enquiries and convert opportunities
- Organised and self-motivated
Experience using Acturis is highly desirable.
