Job Summary
Vyta Restaurant is seeking a motivated and attentive Food Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth service by delivering food promptly and efficiently from the kitchen to our guests’ tables. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality, food service, and guest satisfaction. A friendly demeanour, strong communication skills, and a keen eye for detail are essential to excel in this role.
Responsibilities
- Collect prepared dishes from the kitchen lift and deliver them accurately to the correct tables or designated areas.
- Ensure food presentation meets quality standards before serving.
- Assist with setting up dining areas and clearing tables as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the service area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure timely service.
- Assist with organising takeaway or delivery orders if applicable.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or food delivery is advantageous but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with food preparation, meal service, or culinary tasks is desirable.
- Familiarity with delivery driver procedures or hotel guest services is a plus.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour
