About Us: Cebella is a popular local takeaway that prides itself on delivering delicious food and excellent customer service. We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Takeaway Delivery Driver who will also assist in the shop during downtime.
Job Description: As a Takeaway Delivery Driver & Shop Assistant, you will play a dual role in ensuring our customers receive their orders promptly while also supporting shop operations. This is a part-time position with variable hours, typically ranging from 5 PM to 9 PM, Wednesday through Sunday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery Duties:
- Deliver food orders to customers promptly and courteously.
- Ensure the accuracy of orders before leaving the shop.
- Follow the most efficient routes for delivery.
- Handle payments and provide excellent customer service at the door.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Shop Assistance Duties:
- Assist with food preparation and packaging during downtime.
- Manage the cash register and process transactions.
- Help keep the shop clean and organized, including washing dishes, sweeping, and mopping.
- Restock inventory and supplies as needed.
- Support the team with any additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work part-time hours with a flexible schedule.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
