Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, providing excellent service to our customers. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and food to customers in a courteous and timely manner
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Restock supplies and manage stock levels effectively
- Provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Assist with setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
- Handle customer queries professionally and resolve any issues promptly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles is desirable but not essential
- Strong organisational skills and good time management abilities
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment
- A responsible attitude towards health and safety standards
