Hours: 48 hours per week, 5 days over 7
Our client is a beautiful countryside inn and events venue in North Norfolk, featuring a popular restaurant, bar, landscaped grounds and a busy calendar of weddings and private events. The kitchen delivers fresh, seasonal dishes across restaurant dining, afternoon teas and banqueting for events of up to 150 guests.
They are now looking for a Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen and help deliver high-quality food across both restaurant service and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and leading service
- Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes using fresh ingredients
- Assist with menu development and seasonal specials
- Maintain high food hygiene and kitchen standards
- Help train and support junior kitchen staff
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience as a Sous Chef in a fresh food kitchen
- Confident running service and supporting kitchen operations
- Strong team player with good organisational skills
- Experience with restaurant and/or event service desirable
