We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately, providing friendly and attentive service.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and surfaces regularly.
- Manage stock levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when replenishment is needed.
- Upsell products where appropriate to enhance customer experience and maximise sales.
- Handle cash register operations accurately and process payments securely.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe environment for colleagues and customers.
- Assist team members in keeping the store clean and tidy
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is necessary
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- A positive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
