Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bank Staff Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily activities
- Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely, adhering to hospital protocols
- Support patients with personal hygiene, mobility, and comfort needs
- Assist in conducting patient assessments and updating medical records accordingly
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Respond promptly to patient needs and escalate concerns to senior medical staff when necessary
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised clinical environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Participate in training sessions and professional development activities to stay current with best practices
Requirements
- Valid registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant regulatory body
- Proven experience in patient care within a hospital or clinical setting is desirable but not essential
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Competence in medication administration following strict safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients and colleagues
- Ability to work flexibly across shifts, including evenings or weekends if required
