Due to our ongoing expansion strategy resulting in strong growth, we are seeking a dedicated, capable Light Electric Vehicle Valeter person to support the existing busy friendly workshop team.
Ideally located within 10-15 mile radius of Andover.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Light Electric Vehicle Valeter to join our team. This role would suit someone who is perhaps looking for regular part time, or even a full time position. It involves pressure washing, cleaning and polishing with light machines, and maintaining new and used electric vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards of presentation and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, and experience in janitorial work or vehicle valeting. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within the automotive or electric vehicle industry. The position offers a dynamic working environment where attention to detail and professionalism are valued.
Duties
- Clean and detail electric vehicles, including interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish
- Conduct routine inspections to identify any damages or issues requiring attention
- Maintain the cleanliness of work areas, including storage and preparation zones
- Assist with the organisation of vehicles for delivery or display purposes
- Follow health and safety guidelines during all cleaning procedures
- Use appropriate provided cleaning products and equipment to achieve optimal results
Experience
- Previous experience in vehicle valeting, janitorial work, or similar roles is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
- Basic driving skills are required for moving vehicles safely within the premises
- Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment used in vehicle detailing is advantageous
- A responsible attitude towards health and safety standards is essential for this role
