General Labourer / Driver
About the Role
We are a busy and growing construction company based in Forfar, Angus, seeking a General Labourer / Driver to join our established team.
This is a hands-on role suited to a hardworking and reliable individual with previous experience in construction, joinery, or a similar trade environment. The successful candidate will support our site teams, undertake driving and delivery duties, and help maintain safe and efficient working environments.
An immediate start is available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Carry out driving and delivery duties as required
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment safely
- Maintain clean, safe, and tidy work sites
- Assist joiners and other tradespeople with daily tasks
- Undertake general labouring and site support duties
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
Essential:
- Previous experience in construction, joinery, or a similar trade environment
- Full UK driving licence
- Confidence driving company vehicles
- Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
- Ability to work under your own initiative and follow instructions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Desirable:
- CSCS card (if applicable)
- Experience working on construction sites
