The Role
We are looking for a hands-on and methodical Assembly / Production Technician to support the build and scaling of our battery-powered systems.
This is a production-focused role designed to standardise our builds and significantly increase output. By taking ownership of the assembly process, you will enable our engineering team to step back from production and focus on design, process improvements, and future product development.

Key Responsibilities
* Mechanical & Electrical Pre-assembly: Prepare mechanical structures for final build, prepare DC wiring, assemble AC wiring, and construct organised wiring looms.
* Component Preparation: Ensure all parts are prepped, consistent, and ready for the production line.
* Stock Building & Scaling: Build and maintain a reliable buffer of pre-built components to ensure production scales smoothly with demand.
* Final Assembly: Construct complete, high-quality units from prepared sub-assemblies.
* Quality Control: Accurately follow build documentation to ensure high standards. Initially, you will work under supervision and training, progressing to independent builds where you will take full ownership of quality and consistency.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Basic electrical knowledge and mechanical assembly skills.
* A practical, hands-on mindset with a strong attention to detail.
* The ability to read and accurately follow technical build documentation and processes.
* A professional who takes genuine pride in their build quality and consistency.
Desirable (Nice to have):
* Previous experience working with low-voltage electrical systems (12V–48V / DC systems highly preferred).
* Prior experience working within a busy workshop or production environment.
