Weston Park Care Home is looking to recruit full-time / part-time Care Assistants for night duties . The home has 102 beds for the elderly, and is split into 3 units. These units comprise of dementia, residential and nursing clients.
Specific Duties Include:
- Provides support and encouragement to residents in all areas / activities of daily living.
- Ensure the respect, dignity and rights to privacy of residents as far as possible.
- Contributes to the assessment of residents needs and the development of individualised plans of care and support in consultation with residents, their relatives and the Care Team.
- Act as an associate worker for an identified resident.
- Works with the care and support team to deliver high standards of service to achieve planned goals.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum NVQ level 2 in Care or equivalent care qualification or willing to work towards.
- Experience in a care / support or service related setting preferred.
- Positive, can-do attitude.
- Team Player.
