Job Overview:
Highland Electrical is a highly rated local company serving Loughborough and the surrounding area. We’re hiring a full-time electrician to handle a mix of compliance testing, fuse-board upgrades, EICRs, reactive maintenance, and general electrical work. This is a great role for someone who’s confident working alone visiting multiple sites and wants variety without endless new build's and chasing walls all day.
Salary & Benefits:
- £36,000 – £43,000 DOE
- Company van + fuel card
- 28 days holiday (inc. bank holidays)

- Monday–Friday only – no call-out rota or weekend work

Your Role Will Include:
- Fuse-board upgrades, fault-finding, and remedial work
- EICRs and compliance testing (homes, schools, commercial & rental properties)
- Reactive maintenanceand emergency callouts
- Communicating with landlords, letting agents, site managers and domestic clients
- Using job management software (ServiceM8 – training provided)
Requirements:
- 18th Edition qualified
- 2391 or equivalent (testing & inspection)
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Clean DBS check when done (essential – school sites)
- Exceptional customer service and tidy working
- Ability to work independently
