Working as part of our close-knit team you will be delivering products across Scotland and the UK and you will have an integral role in ensuring the highest levels of customer service are retained. We have a variety of work across our tanker division and general haulage division and thus there are plenty of opportunities to develop and be involved in different aspects of the business depending on your skillset and wish to develop new skills. All training will be provided as required.
We operate a modern fleet of vehicles and drivers are given their own dedicated vehicles which are specified to the highest safety standards.

Shifts: Various available. 4 on 4 off (shared vehicle), 5 on 3 off and weekend shift drivers. Positions also available in part time or seasonal (3 months from end of June) and full time (dedicated vehicle)
Work patterns: Tramping and local or limited overnight opportunities available
Wages: excellent remuneration packages available

Your Responsibilities
- Ensure legal compliance with regards to EU Drivers Regulations, Working Time Directive Legislation and Operators Licence
- Ensure that quality, Health & Safety and Environment standards are maintained at the highest levels, particularly with reference to loading and unloading procedures and any terminal/refinery/distribution centre requirements (full training provided)
- Loading and unloading the vehicle and ensuring goods are safely secured
- Completing all necessary paperwork including daily safety checks, pre-delivery safety checks where applicable and delivery documentation
- Ensure vehicles and equipment are maintained to a high standard
- Carrying all goods in accordance with company procedures and all dangerous goods in line with ADR regulations
- Have a professional demeanour and be a team player who has high standards and a safety-first approach to your work
Key skills and experience required
- HGV Class 1 (C&E) licence
- ADR qualification (preferable but not essential) and tanker experience preferable. Training will be provided as required
- PDP qualification (preferable but not essential), training will be provided as required
- Proven experience in a similar position (minimum 1-2 years Class 1 experience)
- CPC and digital tachograph card
- Professional and presentable approach
