Background
We are hiring multiple experienced Coded Welder’s to join our team of factory operatives in both our Mild Steel (Mochdre) and Stainless Steel (Kinmel Bay) workshops.
The successful candidates will be responsible for conducting welding and fabrication activities while ensuring they are carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
The role requires close collaboration with engineers, quality inspectors, and fabrication operatives to uphold quality requirements, and maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Duties:
- Follow WPS and project requirements
- Document material certification, and consumable traceability.
- Maintain welding records, reports, and traceability documentation.
- Liaise with engineers, clients, and third-party inspectors on matters.
- Perform MAG and TIG welding
- Fabricate components according to specifications and drawings
- Collaborate with team members to achieve targets and goals
Essential Skills:
- 5 years welding experience (MAG and TIG)
- Familiarity with relevant welding ISO’s
- Understanding of Specifications
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes of metal parts
- Good at problem solving
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organisational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills and organisation
- Ability to prioritise tasks
- Strong work ethic and self-motivated
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.50-£16.00 per hour
