Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used efficiently to minimise waste.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including ovens, mixers, and preparation tools.
- Assist in the preparation of other menu items as required, supporting overall kitchen operations.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver prompt service during busy periods.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, preferably within a restaurant or catering setting.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques specific to pizza making is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in a professional kitchen environment with a focus on meal preparation and food safety.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving customers and managing food orders, is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience working with culinary equipment such as pizza ovens, mixers, and knives is preferred.
