At PAM Group, we are looking for a driven and dynamic Clinical Operations Manager to lead and inspire our MSK clinical leadership team. This is a unique opportunity to influence clinical standards, support a nationwide network of MSK clinicians, PhIL clinicians, and DSE assessors, and play a key role in delivering high-quality, efficient, and forward-thinking services.
You’ll combine strategic leadership with hands-on clinical expertise—making a meaningful impact on both our people and the clients we support.
Location: Scotland/Glasgow & Hybrid working (T&Cs apply days will be confirmed)
Full Time: Monday - Friday, x40 hours per week (30 min unpaid lunch)
The Role
This is a varied and rewarding position, with approximately 60% clinical delivery (home and clinic-based) and 40% dedicated to leadership and management responsibilities, including audits, clinical supervision, team management, and training.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and develop MSK Clinical Leadership colleagues through coaching, training, and auditing
Manage direct reports, including annual leave, absence, appraisals (HPP), and performance management
Drive a culture of continuous improvement, talent development, and positive change across the clinical workforce
Clinical Governance & Quality
Ensure safe, effective working practices aligned with clinical standards, policies, and procedures
Oversee clinical audits, service quality, and compliance
Identify and address inaccuracies in service documentation
Collaboration & Influence
Work collaboratively with peers to ensure consistent leadership across the MSK function
Support clinician engagement, retention, and professional development
Contribute to internal escalations and operational improvements
Client & Service Development
Provide clinical expertise in client meetings and support new contract implementations
Contribute to service innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
Promote PAM’s MSK services through articles, podcasts, and presentations
Operational & Clinical Delivery
Maintain an optional clinical caseload, including complex case management
Support triage queries and service utilisation checks
Ensure timely closure of appointments and accurate maintenance of service profiles
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- HCPC registration
- Minimum 3 years’ UK-based MSK experience
- Strong interest and experience in MSK pathology
- Proven post-qualification clinical experience, with leadership experience in an Occupational Health setting
- Management experience (essential)
- Occupational Health experience (desirable)
- Strong interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and occupational health
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
- Confident using IT systems and digital platforms
- Excellent communication, engagement, and problem-solving skills
- Right to work in the UK (please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role)
