We are a small, friendly nursery business on the outskirts of Bury who are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated TEAM LEADER , to join our successful and fun loving team. Our Nursery team work very closely with parents and each other, providing a relaxed, safe, and lively environment. We have qualified and unqualified positions available.
At First Steps Nursery, we pride ourselves on offering new and exciting activities and opportunities for the children to access. Do you have the ability to think on your feet and plan in the moment, to smile, laugh, talk with the children about what they are doing? A sound knowledge of the E.Y.F.S, Birth to Five matters and safeguarding requirements is essential.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
Ensure that all children attending the setting are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
Observe, support, and extend children learning.
Plan appropriately for children using Birth to Five matters for the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Maintain accurate and effective children’s records.
Work in partnership with parents/carers and other family members.
Demonstrate good practice in regard to special needs and inclusion.
Ensuring that all legislation in relation to special needs, safeguarding and health and safety is complied with.
