Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Support Workers to provide exceptional assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments. The role involves supporting patients with daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being, and fostering a comfortable and respectful environment. Previous experience in senior care, dementia care, or hospice care is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality care with empathy and professionalism.
Duties
- Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Support with medication administration following prescribed protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Engage in behaviour management strategies to support residents with dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life
- Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safe transportation
- Monitor health status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals promptly
- Support with activities of daily living in accordance with individual care plans
- Follow health and safety guidelines including first aid procedures when necessary
Experience
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments is preferred
- Knowledge of patient care techniques including dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice, and senior care
- Experience in medication administration and basic first aid is advantageous
- Familiarity with behaviour management strategies for individuals with cognitive impairments
- Caregiving experience involving heavy lifting or physical support is beneficial
- Valid driving licence for transportation duties is desirable
- Childcare experience can be an asset for supporting families or younger clients

Pay: £24,420.00-£36,099.95 per year
