What will you be doing?
- Lead major hazard risk management strategies across upper-tier COMAH sites
- Act as a technical specialist for HAZOP, LOPA, QRA and related studies
- Ensure compliance while reducing risk to ALARP levels
- Turn incident findings into practical improvements
- Promote a strong, consistent safety culture
- Work closely with operations, maintenance and HSSEQ teams
- Engage with regulators and external specialists
Where you'll be doing it
You'll be joining a well-established organisation in the UK energy and fuels sector. The business supports critical infrastructure nationwide and is investing in lower-carbon solutions. The site operates within a complex, highly regulated environment with a strong focus on safety and continuous improvement.
What you'll need
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or similar
- Experience in process safety within COMAH environments
- Involvement in HAZOP, LOPA or similar risk studies
- Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex technical data
- Confidence working with stakeholders at all levels
- Chartered status is beneficial but not essential
Pay: £75,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
